The doubts subside when you go up Diagonal Avenue and approach the building. You are first taken in by the facade designed like a piano keyboard with the black and white keys pushed to different levels, creating an astonishing overall surface texture. Every last detail has been examined. Even the rear facade has been given an artistic aspect dedicated to the city of Barcelona where the light plays a chromatic symphony and creates an optical effect. The hotel has a smart mixture of architecture, interior design, comfort warmth and service. The uniqueness of the hotels architecture and design continues inside, from the very entry inspired by an immense glass fishbowl or the white sofa that greets the visitors. The sensory experience persists in the curving ceiling with water bubbles on the surface and a reception desk that seems to emerge from inside the fish bowl. The materials used, wood and copper, create different moods that the visitors are invited to discover gradually. The vast corridors leading to the rooms on all ten floors of the hotel are bathed in a bluish light to guide the visitor to his correct room number.
